Hi Guys. Look at this fantastic set of pans I’ve designed with Tefal. You can grill with it, fry, roast, stew and marinate. You can even make apple pie in it. Best of all it packs away into the tiniest space.

  • 2 fat juicy sirloin steaks, cut 2cm thick
  • sea salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • olive oil

Take your steaks out of the fridge at least 10 minutes before you want to cook them, to let them come to room temperature. Season them well with lots of salt and pepper and rub some olive oil all over.

Heat the smallest Survival Kit pan until very hot and carefully place the steaks in, so they’re side by side but not touching each other. Press down on each steak with a spatula to give them those lovely char marks. Don’t worry if there is a bit of smoke, open the window and it'll soon clear!

After 3 minutes, turn over the steaks and cook for another 3 minutes on the other side – this should give you a nice pink steak. Feel free to cook it a little longer if you prefer your meat well done.

Allow the steaks to rest for a couple of minutes before serving them with a wild rocket salad.
